01 · the challenge

The TRIFIC Green USD I-REIT — Kenya’s first US Dollar income REIT, anchored by the fully occupied, debt-free, EDGE-certified TRIFIC North Tower inside Kenya’s only private Special Economic Zone — had a compelling proposition and a hard communication problem: most of its potential investors had never bought a REIT. The offer needed explaining — what a REIT is, why this one is different, what an applicant needs, and exactly how to apply — in language a first-time investor could follow, within CMA-approved wording, before the NSE listing date.

02 · the approach
script & storyboard A scene-by-scene storyboard opening on a question every Nairobian has asked — “have you ever looked at a big commercial building and thought, I wish I could own a piece of that?” — then a building dividing into $1 tiles, the North Tower fly-around, and the five reasons to invest. Every frame carried client approval checkboxes and CMA-compliance flags.
2d animation & voice-over Full 2D animation with a professionally sourced English voice-over — a 2:30 explainer walking from concept to checklist (CDSC account, KRA PIN, ID) to the application flow itself, screen by screen.
multi-format delivery The full film plus a 30-second ad cut, published in formats for every placement — the social platforms carrying the campaign and the TRIFIC I-REIT landing page where the ads drove traffic.
one funnel, one story The video worked as the explainer layer of the wider I-REIT campaign Dotsavvy was running — ads to landing page to application portal — one narrative from curiosity to completed, paid application.
